I went into a local record shop on Friday to have a browse. It was £15 for 12″

      I have about 300 CDs in the garage in boxes, a little under 100 in the house. Mostly stuff that’s not on Tidal like the (old) GU, Balance and Renaissance CDs, plus some other stuff. I have about 800 vinyl records left, enough to fit under my DJ desk, so storing them is not an issue. That space is there no matter what. Wife and I have together about a thousand books. And about 600 Blu rays.

      We like physical media. Marie Kondo would have a seizure in our house.

        I like to think I was quite discerning back in my Vinyl buying 20s. Apart from the odd blooper my collection is BSPF free, so I figured it worth keeping. If you’re the type of cunt who used to buy any old shit on the weekly then probably best off throwing it in the nearest canal.

        Got around 500 PEAK TIME POWER PROG cd’s that ain’t going nowhere.

          Is right brother ✊ But as an owner of only one property, I doubt I’ll be taking down the system on my own should I decide to go and live in a commune.

                      Amps not sure charity shops would sell much 1990s techno /drum & bass/ progressive house/ trip hop. There were probably some indie stuff in there, but I was too lazy to take it anyway. Think I was moving so was a last min decision

                            I laid something unspeakable this afternoon. Must admit, I did think of you when chopping it down to size.

                            Feel quite sprightly now the nausea has passed !

                              I can’t eat a Seekh kebab any more thanks to Rhouses .

                                I have all my GU and various mix CDs kept in a massive sleeve, I discarded all the cases long ago unfortunately because I took the sleeve to Oz with me back in 2000. The CDs are safe right now, thats the main thing. My brother built a studio in the roof of his house back home so all the vinyl is safe now too.
