Christian I was never in a good state but i always thought the annexe was over two parts. the bit shown in the video above, but also went out further in the back where you could not see the dj and had a stage etc
Amps Christian always thought the annexe was over two parts There was the Zoo Bar (a mezzanine room), beyond the Annexe, which only opened on the busier nights. The Courtyard had something similar; it’s bar area was in a room off to the side known as the Sawmill.
bosstrabs Smallman1 Can Hugo get access to the floor plans of Nation and confirm what the sizes of the respective rooms were from a square foot perspective? Three Clubs Hugo surely can
bosstrabs If I was in the UK I would scan and upload the booklet of Cream Live Two (The White Album). That had a floor plan in it. Surely someone will have it?
wrongun Loved Cream in that late(ish) 90’s era - brilliant club Mainly Saturday nights including a Northern Exposure tour night there, couple of the birthdays Also Bugged Out/Full On(?) nights on the Friday
bosstrabs As I recall, and again my memory is hazy here, ‘Full On’ was the nights it would go all night rather than finishing at 3 or 4. Think some were Fridays, some were Saturdays, no?
Amps bosstrabs ‘Full On’ was the nights it would go all night rather than finishing at 3 or 4 Correct, the Full On nights were at the end of each month and ran until 6am. The normal Saturday nights ran until 4am. When Bugged Out moved over from Manchester, they were once a month and ran until 6am too.
bosstrabs Some old listings from around the time I used to go a bit… Pretty sure I was there for the Oakenfold and Dope Smugglaz night on the first flyer (not advertised as such but part of a Perfecto tour IIRC) and the March 27th one, where Seaman was a no-show and Bleasdale closed the main room instead and was fucking superb.
-si- Dave proving his board legend status. Starts a thread with the promise of reviewing an entire year’s ess mixes. Gets fucked off by February and has absolutely no qualms whatsoever about posting his opinion on bongo players as if nothings happened and the original subject was forgotten about long ago. Never change, dave.
bosstrabs hugopal It’s true, please take over, Hugo. The next one, Murk, is really good. I can’t do it justice.
bosstrabs alistair Remember when Carl Cox and Jeremy Healy were residents. Chalk and cheese! I’ve seen Cox drop some real cheese tbh. Mostly of the Funky Green Dogs variety LT hates.
