alistair itās a crowd pleaser. Isnāt that the whole point?
It pleases crowds of people with terrible taste in music and no rhythm. Who the heck is this random āMr Brightsideā twat and why does anyone care? Sometimes with big pop songs I can dislike them but still understand how they might appeal, but itās one of the ones whose popularity I just canāt get my head around.

Although I dislike Coldplay, I have a particular loathing of āMr Brightsideā - I really abhorred the song anyway plus it was perhaps the biggest student anthem during the time of my first year of Uni.
It brings back cheerless memories of feeling obliged to attend endless tacky student nights, where it was played as one of, if not the final tune at seemingly every one. At which point most the legless crowd would ungracefully jump around and singalong, as I wished I was somewhere that played good music which you could actually dance to.
