Wasily …kinda agree, as far as DJ mixes go, personally find it helps if you have a rough structure laid-out in the form of approximate track order in a playlist first (and ideally ‘know’ the mixes work having tried them on some kind of DJ setup).
There are a lot more bells & whistles to Live, which is a potential hindrance if you are new to it and just wanna sling tracks in to see what they sound like together, but like anything, familiarity with it makes you much faster (stuff like warping), and there’s always the option to create a stripped-down template exactly for this purpose if that’s what you want to use it for.
