I actually had a few really good nights at Sankeys.
4 in particular I remember: Judge Jules around 1997 (maybe even 96). Forgive me, one of my first clubbing nights.

Plus a couple of other great nights, Christian Smith was one, Tom Middleton another. Both of those because the dancefloor was not so packed and I could throw some shapes.
It was moody. The bogs were always rancid. Dropping a log on come-up in a cubicle with no door once I recall. Grim experience.
Tangled @ The Phoenix always had a much nicer crowd, if we’re on about Manchester nights. Other ‘superclubs’ (Cream, GodsKitchen, Fabric) were just a whole lot better than Sankeys. Soz.
