About three times I’ve had a Chinese lad walk up to me and go “where a you flom?”
And I say, “England”
And he says “Ah England, you rike snook?”
And I say “What?”
And he says “Snook!??” and does the universal motion for snooker where you do the stance and pretend to pot an invisible ball.
And I say “Oh, snooker”
And he says “Yes, snook! Ding Junhui! Judd Ta-lump Neir Lobesson”
And I say “No, I don’t like it”
