Went to this restaurant in Tuscany last night… been coming over the past 10 years, yet last night was the best yet… started with creamy burrata with truffle shavings…shavings are a bit of a gimmick unless the truffle infuses the food as it did here - one of my favourite dishes in the region. Followed by ravioli with ricotta and truffle… not too buttery or cheesy, this was another ridiculous dish. For mains I had a tartare, which was one of the specials… actually not the best tartare I’ve had on this trip, but decent all the same. Finally, dessert was pistachio panna cotta - felt like licking the plate tbh.. this is why I love coming to this part of the world… going back on Saturday evening for seconds.
If you like this kind of food (simple Italian trattoria), this is probably the one restaurant I’d recommend visiting in your lifetime.
