Christ the langoustine scampi at Hawksmoor was good.

As was the chateaubriand and glass of Languedoc.

I think the word I’m looking for starts with a w, ends in a g and has innin in between.

I’ve just read that Le Gavroche is closing next year. I ate there back in 1989, I was only 18 and didn’t realise that you had to wear a Jacket. I didn’t have one, so they gave me one from lost property. It must have belonged to Mr Creosote, because it was way way too big. I had to fold the sleeves up just to eat my lunch. I can’t remember much about what I ate, but the cloakroom attendant was a spitting image of Jenny Agutter. That was the first 3 Star Michelin restaurant that I ate at.

Hmm, Just looked at some pictures of their dishes on trip advisor. I can see why they lost a Michelin Star, maybe the should have lost another one
