Also uses the term goalie when referencing the ’keeper.

-si- Goalie was common in British playgrounds in the 80s e.g. “rush goalie”

    Totally acceptable IMO

vinnyt77 To be fair, that’s a massive upgrade on him calling it soccer, so I’ll allow it 👍

Sorry, my bad, he still calls it soccer.

Fly ’keeper or spider nets must be the equivalent of rush goalie?

bosstrabs totally agree. Not sure what Si’s issue is with football slang terms in this country.

        Has Ed hacked your account?

Went to one of my favourite small chain restaurants in London tonight. They have been hugely consistent across all their restaurants and I like they have varied each place slightly menu wise. Tonight was in the Borough one.

Tonight the baos were great, the ox heart skewers are assume, plus the Taiwanese chicken and chilli chicken all hit the spot. Love the place

The plural of bao is bao.

Don’t go calling them ‘bao buns’ either, a bao is a bun.

I feel immediately compelled to rinse one straight off the knuckles every time you lecture us on food Dave.

I will take a bao Sean, thank you.
