Went to Shoreditch for the opening month of this number by Nieves Barragán who was the ex head chef of Barrafina and Sabor on Heddon Street. This is the latest iteration of her Basque style Spanish cooking and has a number of the Sabor highlights like Segovian suckling pig and Monkfish tempura exported over from her other restaurant plus a much expanded menu. Had Cantabrian Anchovy, Smoked Cheese, Brioche / Black Fideua, Rock Shrimp, Alioli / Mackerel Meatballs, Jamon Dashi and Frit Mariner. It’s all superb. Save space for the desserts if you can.
