My friend booked a table for lunch at Andrew Edmunds. The restaurant has both a ground floor and a basement, yet they never inform you that they intend to put you in the basement even when there are free tables upstairs.
When we arrived, there was an empty table upstairs. We politely asked to sit there.
Instead of offering any normal customer service, the staff member Molly responded with shocking rudeness cold, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. It felt like she went out of her way to make the experience unpleasant.
They forced us into the basement, which was freezing cold. It was so cold that I actually started coughing absolutely unacceptable conditions for a restaurant.
As if that wasn’t enough, the service was painfully slow.
We waited 30 minutes just for dessert, with no explanation, no apology, nothing.
By the end, our lunch was completely ruined terrible attitude from host Molly, freezing seating, and unbelievably slow service.
I will never return, and I strongly advise others to avoid this place until they fix their staff and basic standards of hospitality."
