Mlog44 As someone with a nostalgic love of late 90s/early 00s prog been stalking the forum for a while. Had to register and offer my 2 cents on the topic of bird djs. Can’t believe Perel hasn’t got a mention anywhere in this thread, great DJ playing a mix of proggy trance n 80s synth sounds, always structures and mixes her sets really well and a brilliant producer in her own right. Was really getting bored of stripped back ploddy dance music a couple years back n she’s pretty much single handedly reignited my love for the scene. Would post links to some of her sets, the boiler room n beatport ones on YouTube are great but I need be arsed to figure it out right now.
Homegrove I’ve been singing her praise here. The Boiler Room she did recently is also great, only thing I don’t like is her singing in the sets.
bosstrabs Smallman1 Lottie. Absolutely loved her. Yes, she was great whenever I saw her, although by her own admission (in Mixmag or Muzik, can’t remember which) she was a “DJ Sneak groupie”, following him round, copying his style, procuring every record he played that she could get her hands on.
