All Back To Mine is worth a shout.

Dan It’s just ‘Back to Mine’.

Probably my fave ever mix CD of that (in hindsight) wanky ‘downtempo’ paradigm (more commonly played in shit artisan coffee shops than actually at people’s ‘afters’) that persisted way longer than it should have.

And even then it had better be peer reviewed

Can’t have the ole brioche bun due their massive butter content.

    Cheers.

Smallman1 You’re not missing anything when it comes to burgers on them.

I don’t know where this fashion has appeared from these past 10 years or so, but you get them everywhere.

As soon as the meat juices start seeping into the brioche, the bun is done for and the whole shitty mess just dissolves.

A decent white sesame bap is all that’s needed for a burger.

bosstrabs full agreement. Also you can’t order a burger home from one of the better places, as it’s gone a soggy mess by the time you get it. Lockdown was I was basically just ordering pizzas home all the time as it can take a few minutes with the carrier guy, and still be alright.

Hipster seppos like @zackster . Mispronouncing ‘Bricohe’ and all…

We’ve got a MeatLiquor in Brighton, and their burgers are served in a simple white bap - not even with an adornment of sesame seeds. They’re fucking brilliant.

Dan Awesome little place, and amazingly good value.

          • Dan replied to this.

Dubman No, but a mate who works near them swears by them. We’re moving over to Hove in a coupla months, so will check them out 👍

Dan I ate in Donatello the other week I’m Brighton

I last ate in there in the mid 90s.

            Can’t believe it’s still going.

Smallman1 They have a Sister restaurants called Pinocchios….one in Brighton and an awesome one near me in Canterbury.
