I actually thought this week’s diggers mix was beyond boring and his worst in a long long time. It was just an hour of grim, plodding drollness with some Sepos whooping and a hollering every so often in the background. I was trying to imagine being in that club having to listen to that. No taa.

Cankles-McJeggings Lost Desert produced the Garden of Earthly Delights track @baggers posted which you admitted liking. I think there is some depth and detail in his arrangements and his melodies are unusual (Voyeurs de la nuit EP etc). There have been at least three JC board DJ’s playing his records in the last month. Sound particularly good in @Unbroken1 sets.

I struggle to see how any of that is in any way relevant. Under the Lost dessert moniker, as I said, it’s boring shite that sounds like almost everything else on ADID. ie so called organic house. Clear enough for you?
What anyone one on here playing it has to do with anything I do not know.

Homegrove I’m hoping there’s going to be another wave of Fade releases sometime soon, as those last two ‘The Next We’ albums were great!

Always enjoyed Fortier’s sets more than most. That era of Diggers bringing the sounds of Chris and JvM to UK radio was the best.

Hilarious that progressive house dj’s are still filling their sets with the likes of lost dessert etc. ADID was interrsting for a year about 7 years ago. Then every wankstain of a producer started trying to mimic it (badly) but the likes of Hernan etc still played all theses shit variations of hookless, disinteresting orchestral house - completely ruining the style.

Ive been to the Barcelona & Berlin ADIDs and dont get me wrong - I thought they were excellent at the time. But its important to note that nobody does that sound better that Burridge & Dekay. Once Dekay stepped away and the likes of Hoj & Lost Desert were introduced, it was time to move on.

I can’t even bear to listen to burridge anymore. Just sounds like he’s been playing the same record for the last 5+ years. Sebastian Leger and Powell are also churning out the same crap.

Volen Sentir is the only one I entertain. He does some less ADID sounding stuff and not scared to go a bit tougher. Simon Vuarambon, Hermanez and old Dim Kelly who’s also added to the shitfest monotony should all be thrown on the Burning Man fire together and lit with Burridge dowsed in kerosene.
