Last track is Joe Roberts - Love Is Energy (D.O.P. Mix) [FFRR]

Don’t know a single track from that list. Excellent.

Rollo44 There won’t be many new DJs from the last 20 years could pull of a vinyl set like the last 2 weeks.

You could list any of the top DJs on the circuit right now and guaranteed they were all using 1210s back in the day and could string together a set if they’d bother their arse. Whether you like what they play or not is another matter.

    SM001

The penny has just dropped that this is the track that Maceo Plex sampled for Love Somebody Else

    SM001 Onionz

Back in the late ’90’s he was one of the best and most underrated DJs going. Absolutely smashed every room to smithereens. Saw him and Doc Martin go back to back at a warehouse in Oakland. Both had the place jumping.

I liked last week’s mix much more. This was dull.

The live stream on Facebook is still going on, 21 hrs. It’s impossible to save the video.

Homegrove I’m the exact opposite. Last week’s went nowhere. Pretty, but bland. This one was short, but more interesting.

FYI: “That” breaks track on Bunker 11 is Betical - Icon

SM001 nice work (as always) on the title! Had an incling it was a Betical track for a while, but they haven’t even mentioned this track title on any of their social to date (well not that I can see anyway). Great track!

Digweed live again on his Facebook page right now for EG.

LT42 It’s OK when Diggers does it

            It gets better and better.

Looking forward to this Budakid EP.

Started listening to these from when he started adding them to his Mixcloud, as I realized I’d not listened to a single one twice. So #3 tonight with a book, sounding fine!

Homegrove So #3 tonight with a book

Bonkers that mate. Cant understand doing both at the same time.

              Both my braincells couldn’t cope

I’ve always done it since I was barely a teenager. Horror like Clive Barker’s Books of Blood went well with stuff like Kreator or Slayer on my twin deck boombox.

That was what I was into around the time Perfect Motion came out. Explains a few things probably.

Homegrove I always try to listen to music while I’m reading too. I don’t usually put too much thought into what I put on, just that I need something in the background. Or if I’m at the beach, listening to the sounds there is fine, but when I’m reading at home, the quiet isn’t as comfortable.

I like zero distractions so i can immerse myself in a mix / book / film etc…

Having said that can happily have the tunes on whilst attempting DIY

Be boring if we were all the same 👍

Looking forward to downloading this. John had it both in the Bunker and in the 800.

segwin I haven’t seen it available for purchase or pre-order anywhere?

SM001 Having the same issue. There was a mention on 8bit Records Facebook page but it merely listed the Spotify link . . .

Yeah ,that is great. Usually Curly is very run of the mill tech house for guys who can’t keep their tops on in clubs, and smell of rape.

I look too much like Gollum without a shirt on to do something stupid like remove it in public.
