I buy stuff mixed in euros, pounds and dollars all the time, and Bandcamp always lets me check out all at once. Only difference if an artist demands Paypal. Then I have to check out that separately.
I wonder why I can do it, but you can’t? Brexit?

Find it hard to find anything to be fair.
Feels like shopping at one of those independent clothes shops that wants to be cool but has a lot of shite in between the odd nugget, and a really bad layout. The UX is piss-poor.
Could be the way I’m using it, but rapidly coming to the point where I’m giving up. Shame as the concept is a great one. But I’ve spent hours wading through stuff with very little to show for it
Mad_Cyril I don’t use it to search - I follow labels on there and check the tracks in my crate on Beatport. Bit of a pain, but makes me feel better helping producers out.
Mad_Cyril The interface is a mess. I persevere with it as it can be much cheaper than other sites. I picked up the last Bedrock EP for £2 where it was 6euro on Beatport. I rarely go thru it hoping for a gem. I just follow artists and labels and get notifications or wade thru back catalogues.
Along_the_Wire I do the exact same thing. End up saving money too.
Still discovering who/whats worth following.
Might try that at a later point, at the moment the saving doesn’t equate to time spent.
Thanks for the ideas though chaps
I too search elsewhere, and buy from Bandcamp as much as I can.
So spent some time building up a wish list over the last month or so, log in today and half of it has disappeared.
Bandcamp in the bin
Mad_Cyril bizarrely I had exactly the same thing happen to me on Beatport the other day! Lost a load of stuff I’d put in a Hold Bin that I’d been waiting on a decent sale code for.

I have found some pretty cool stuff on this label. Theres 333 releases and everything is Name Your Price
Looks like they’re waiving their fees tomorrow.
Just got a mail from Freerange offering 15% off everything.
Will take the edge off their over-priced mp3s
Does anyone actually use this site for finding new music? I’ve been trying lately and am finding it to be an unpleasant chore. If anyone has any tips, I’d like to hear them.
I browse elsewhere, buy on Bandcamp.
One of the things I have done is find about 30 or 40 people who are prolific Bandcamp users with similar tastes to my own. Then I follow them and browse their collections and wishlists regularly. It becomes like 6 degrees of separation. From them I will often find a track I like, see who else has purchased it, browse their collections and continue like this. I have found some really good stuff this way, and it can be a real interesting dig.
I don’t get why anyone peruses band camp or beatport for music. I just use them as e-commerce sites when I like a track on SoundCloud, seeing as every label/artist generally posts new tracks on there - and usually the full track rather than a shitty beatport clip. Then I go to bandcamp first as you get a better price and quality, and finally beatport.
Millsy That’s a fair point.
I suppose it’s mainly due to the fact that over time I’ve followed lots of artists/labels on Beatport and have used those to put me onto more artists/labels.
Until lately it’s worked quite well for finding new music (and old music that’s new to me). I use Soundcloud mostly for listening to mixes.
