Kells77 My main take away from that was how sad it must be for todays teenagers who know nothing else but using SM. In reality it’s only been about 10 years from when phones were good enough to support social media apps. A lot of my generation are pretty addicted to using phones/SM Apps, but in reality we could just bin them for long periods. I cane anyone when we go out and they are constantly on their phones……..and they just out them down and slip back into normal human conversation without too much bother.
For kids it’s completely out of control. I went for a run yesterday and passed a group of girls ( 20ys old ) standing by the Hudson river taking selfies with NY as the backdrop. I had to pass the same spot on the way back about 30min later and they were all still there doing the same shots, posting etc etc……I just felt very sorry for them if thats now what entertainment is for that generation.
