I’m genuinely not sure what point you’re trying to make. Many Saudi Arabians were complicit in the 9/11 attacks, and there’s evidence that links parts of the Saudi government with funding for Al-Qaeda at the time of the attacks.

I find it hilarious they’re going back 20 years to an event which had 0 consequences to anyone in Saudi Arabia, to emotionally blackmail a golfer just looking to make some money doing what he does best.

The Khashoggi call-outs during this Liv debate, while I don’t necessarily agree with it, it’s fair to bring it up to the golfers. 9/11 is a fucking stretch.

9/11 is stuck in the American psyche in a way that I hadn’t really appreciated until I started spending a lot of time there c. 12 years ago. I was in DC over the 9/11 anniversary in 2017, and was stunned at how big a deal was made of it.
