LT42 How you getting on with it LT?

      mono-stereo LOL. I haven’t got it yet, mate. Waiting for the New Year and the new PC to arrive. Gonna grab a 3080 GPU so waiting on funds and stock and I’m away.

          LT42 Nice, that card is a unit, although I’m a bit wary of its power draw.

          It seems that the bottleneck for most is single-threaded CPU performance, I ended up overclocking mine. I never usually fuck about with overclocking, but it’s made a big difference to my frame rate.

            AMD cards announced yesterday seem to be able to go toe to toe with nvidia 3080s at a much lower cost. Probably not blighted by supply issues either as they get a higher yield from their production processes.

                  Just finished TLOU2. Fuck me, some game that. The cut scenes and the conversational gameplay towards the end were starting to do my fucking nut in and I was a fan of those elements up til that point.

                  Has anyone on here tried to pick up a new machine on release? I’m hearing there’s absolute murder in the States with availability, scalpers hoovering up stock and selling for 2000+ on Ebay. Can’t help thinking these launches and stock could be better managed.

                    Cyberpunk 2077 having a rough launch - buggy as fuck, CDPR are getting called transphobic and it turns out the game features a lot of stuff almost custom designed to induce epileptic seizures:

                      Amps All about context innit? Time and a place for everything. Admittedly I’ve yet to play Cyberpunk 2077 but the title and 2 years of marketing led me to believe it wouldn’t be a game entirely focused on sex toys and bedroom antics.

                        Will be giving it 6 months at least until getting cyberpunk. They can iron out all the bugs/plastic phalli like they did with Witcher 3 during that time.
