vinnyt77 its about time, those bandits at Activision have been taking the piss for years with COD.
Over 10 years since the groundbreaking COD4 and the game has gotten worse. It needs an injection of new ideas.

          BlainSA they lost a ton of players to the new Halo because they churned out the same ole shit. Terrible map design, overbearing sound, a clusterfuck and overdone class setup. It needs an overhaul, even the developers know that. They’ve been using the same engine for over 15 years. COD4 and MW2 were damn near perfect. 👍

              LT42 Ah yes, I heard halo was being ran terribly and saw the crazy rip offs they were doing with skins. I meant them taking on cod and keeping it BAU with the cod releases. Seems to be a lot more cartoony now with players that have capes and rainbow guns that make funny noises and animations when they fire or kill someone. COD4 and MW2 didn’t need all of that shit.

                  BlainSA Halo wouldn’t be my cuppa, I can’t stand all that bouncing around the screen and phaser guns, pew pew, pew. All the pros seem to be raving about it’s gameplay though in comparison to COD.

                      Along_the_Wire yep, amazing. I grinded for a year or two in COD4 and got my gold cross. Granted I was going to bed most nights seeing red dot optics on the walls 😆

                          Hey Wals. Is it worth waiting for a PS5 or should I just grab a PS4? Not a big game guy but would like to dive into RDR2 now that some time is freeing up.

                            jonattonyeah I was going to say a PS4 Pro would be better than the usual PS4 if you’re not a hardcore gamer and you want to get stuck into RDR2, it’ll perform better on the pro over the regular PS4.

                            BUT, you could pick up a used Xbox One X at the moment cheap enough and you’ll get almost similar specs but a bit more power than the PS4 Pro, and you have gamepass on Xbox which is great value and can’t be beaten.
                            And the benefit to the Xbox, if there’s next gen Series X games that come out on Gamepass, the usual Microsoft exclusives you might want to play, you’ll be able to still play them on the last gen console through the cloud streaming they’re offering nowadays.

                                LT42 I meant Halo - simply avoid the silly noise by using the Battle Rifle or shotgun all the time. Early COD was the same to be fair
