More interested in Angry Joe’s view of LOU2. Just watched IGNs and they’ve given it a 10. I’m finally at the bloody epilogue of rdr2 so this is well timed.

Hearing it’s amazing but quite unpleasant to play in parts - think back to the reveal trailer with the lynching in it where it made people feel queasy. Apparently whole game is like that. - also hearing some dissent from non-games sites but I want to be spoiler free so that’s the end of me looking.

I spent an hour trying to kill a bloater under some flooded hotel in TLOU last night. Very annoyed. I’ll tackle it again later. I’m not gonna get this game done ahead of next Friday, which is annoying.

I didn’t watch the PS5 thing once I heard it wasn’t in 4K - I’ll watch a 4K version later

hahaha! I know the person who did that flooded hotel section in TLOU. Always used to rip the piss out of him that it was the shittest part of the game. You can go round and search the hotel - no baddies - soon as you hit the light switch, there’s hundreds of the cunts. Shoddy design lol. Apparently it was one of the very last bits to get added to TLOU as they were nearing a deadline. 🙂

Along_the_Wire Nope. If we are referring ro the bit where you have to manually start the generator and the bloater and stalkers peg it at you. I fannied around trying to kill them all for ages and just ended up fucking all that off and running upstairs and opening the door instead .

I fucking hate end of level stuff when it’s just too hard. I played Gears of War on Hardcore and spent an entire weekend on the same scene on the second floor of a house being invaded by waves of locust - must’ve taken me 50-odd attempts and got it down to the final enemy half a dozen times and died every time.

Millsy Even that took me three goes. It goes straight into a pretty hard scene after that an all. Loved it.

Wally Did that with one of the Halos playing with a mate. Once we hit the flood it just got really boring so we just decided to leg it through all the levels until we got past them, which was most of the game unfortunately. Surprised that we could pretty much run all the way to the end and just dodge it all.
