On hols at the moment and I saw the strangest, most ignorant and idiotic thing today. The kid of a Turkish conservative muslim (not full Hijab but Amish type dull clothes and head scarf) was clearly drowning in the pool, myself and others a few floors up alerted by the screams and commotion, a friend of his or a relative was screaming up at the balcony for the mother to come, she was just inside the sliding doors with the scarf and garb off, which is how they operate between indoor and outdoor (dont get me fucking started). Whole place was watching at this point with other parents shouting down to the pool area for someone to come. The mother sees whatās happening, lets out a shriek and instead of jumping off the 1st floor balcony down to save her son spends the next 5 minutes putting on her ugly fucking frock and headscarf so she can leave the apt again. Luckily a chap from the ground floor got to the kid before he died, which was literally touch and go. I was furious, on some level I was thinking she should be reported to authorities but youād have some job trying to explain that to the powers that be, youād probably be clubbed over the head yourself. I canāt stand these religious idiots. They represent depression and slavery, thats all I see. 40 degrees and theyāre walking around covered up with the complexions of extras out of Salemās Lot. Whatās the fucking point. A part of me wishes she learned a harsh lesson, not fair on the kid I know but dickheads like that are not responsible enough to have children in the 1st place. Nobody gives a fuck about your hair, Iām sure Allah will give you a pass so you can save your kid you dumb fucking cunt.
Anyway, Iāll be sinking more cocktails and seafood dinners for the next week, getting married on Wednesday and will be half cut every day and on my best behaviour. Cheers.
