This one’s pretty simple and partisanship should go out the window. To be honest, your partisanship demeans you in this case.
No good leader would ever say, “who cares what it looks like”. He’s flouting rules that were drawn up by his team. He effectively operates as a member of the Cabinet and Cabinet is supposed to take collective responsibility. Now he fucks those rules off completely while the cabal in charge of the country expects everyone else to follow them. His haughty arrogance is breathtaking and he should go.
