Nothing will top the 2002 Giants losing to the Angels for me - game 6 was brutal, just brutal. But that was all alleviated when they won in 2010.

If the Sixers can win the next one, I think they still win the series. But I wouldn’t be surprised if they just lie down and die given last night. Tobias is overpaid but a sunk cost there. He’s still pretty good and plenty of guys are overpaid who get judged on their contract rather than their production (hashtag Andrew Wiggins).

Oddly, if Philly and the Bucks traded coaches I think both teams would be in a better place.

Yeah those antics are annoying but he’s hardly the only offender. Chris Paul. Luka. Harden. Even Steph Curry to some extent; but he plays off-ball so much…he’s a bit different than the ball-dominant foul-hunters out there (in fact, I don’t think he gets enough calls on his drives). And the refs don’t have to call it. They swallow the whistles with Harden every playoffs.

Anyway. I think this series is less about Trae and the Hawks. Sixers should’ve wrapped this up by now. They have better players and more experience.

Having Blake, Chris Paul, Paul George, Kawhi, in their primes (on different squads, obviously) and a bunch of really good role players….never making the Finals (or even the WCF) with the Clips is pretty bad. But I guess those Warriors teams were absolute juggernauts and the bubble last year was weird.

It’s fucking ridiculous. If Simmons and Thybulle are going to be absolute zeros offensively, can they at least contain Trae? Try, maybe? What are they even doing? And Joel cannot play more than 30 minutes. They have to manage those minutes. Curry also cannot be your secondary scorer. He’s good but not that good. What the fuck, man.

And I don’t know what else you could ask out of Curry. He’s been amazing. Joel can also only do so much. This must be an incredibly frustrating team to cheer for. They seem like the Clippers. Acting like they’ve won when they never have.
