Agreed. But he’s getting his entire paycheck either way. The NBA Union is too strong. Either Philly will pick it up for a strong trade package or another team will pick it up if they think they’re getting a deal.
Hate to say it, but this is the Morey Tax. Like with Ainge. This is not the 1990’s. Players have way, way more power. You dangle about players in trades with no regard for them….this is the result. No coincidence bigger teams hire former agents like Bob Myers and Pelinka as GMs now. Everyone has analytics, Morey, not everyone has people skills.
