Good grief, if tonight’s game doesn’t show anything….it’s not Harden that the teams need to be worried about in the playoffs, it’s the officiating Joel gets. Embiid’s best teammate is the fucking ground. Flopping about like a beached whale. He might win MVP because he’s been pissing and moaning about it for three months, but Jokic is better in pretty much every way and he has an absolute dumpster fire of a team (with basically the same record). Used to be a fan but forget this team with Joel’s antics, Harden being Harden, and stupid ass Doc.

jonattonyeah Behave. Joel Embiid is gonna win the scoring title and is a top-5 defensive player in the league and isn’t gonna win MVP because Joker has a better VORP. If you wanna shit on Harden or Doc or whomever else, go for it, but denying Joel is petty and foolish.

I think Joel will win MVP because Jokic won last year. Narrative and all. And Joel has had an MVP-level season so no problem with that. But any idea that him losing would be some travesity is insane. Also know that if I’m in a game seven I have two guys I’d take over either so there’s that.

Sixers as a team aren’t winning shit. Morray, Harden… you are probably (unfortunately) going to be proven right.

But coming at Embiid over any aspect of his game is bonkers. He shoots so many free throws because he is fouled so often. Dude is possibly better than AI, and that is an absolute statement. Call me a homer, if you want, but Giannis and Joker aren’t in the same league.

BTW, you were the first to point this out three seasons ago.

I mean, Jokic just put up the first 2K / 1K / 500 ever if we’re going with numbers. He also leads in pretty much every advanced stat there is with an awful, awful team. Look, I’m fine with Embiid winning but any idea that it would be a catastrophe if he lost is misguided IMO. And no chance Embiid is in some league of his own. Giannis has two MVPs, a DPOY, and a ring (if anything, he’s in a league of his own). Jokic one MVP.

And yeah I’ve said before I get pissy about the foul baiting. It just makes for an awful watch. And some of the calls, like the one last night on Thaddeus Young, are absolute phantom fouls.

Eh, stats don’t say everything but they’re useful and interesting. And yeah Doc wants to go back to LA for sure.

Happy with my Dubs. Had a rough season injury-wise and still ended up with the third best record in the league. If Dray and Curry are close to 100% I’m confident against anyone - but that’s a big if. Did wish they got another big in the buyout market. Robin Lopez or someone like that. Joel, Giannis…brutal for Looney. He just doesn’t have the size. Jokic is different. He’s more like a gigantic point guard. And he’s literally the only guy on the team. Everyone else on Denver is absolutely terrible.
