I mean, Jokic just put up the first 2K / 1K / 500 ever if we’re going with numbers. He also leads in pretty much every advanced stat there is with an awful, awful team. Look, I’m fine with Embiid winning but any idea that it would be a catastrophe if he lost is misguided IMO. And no chance Embiid is in some league of his own. Giannis has two MVPs, a DPOY, and a ring (if anything, he’s in a league of his own). Jokic one MVP.
And yeah I’ve said before I get pissy about the foul baiting. It just makes for an awful watch. And some of the calls, like the one last night on Thaddeus Young, are absolute phantom fouls.
