Industry season 2 is out and it is 🔥

Homegrove I watched season one, and thought it was okay ish, figured it might get going a bit in season two. Popped it on, thought ’oh, they’ve picked up the pace a bit and skipped over a few bits’, but it was all easy to work out. Then I realised I was watching season three and had missed an entire season out. Promptly fucked it off.

All modern tv is just too fuckin slow for the most part.

Homegrove I’ve watched Breaking Bad’s pilot twice to the point where he gets the diagnosis, then bailed. The first serious relationship I was ever in the mother in law died of cancer two years into the relationship, and I really liked her, and it’s been a tough thing for me ever since.

But I’ve made the decision that come winter I will persevere and watch Breaking Bad through. Asked my friends and El Camino is next, then Better Call Saul.

So that’s the winter planned in this country of eternal darkness for six months straight.

    Chin up H!

C_J funnily enough was thinking about that today, wondering if a season 2 was on its way. Still no release date in the U.K.

House of the Dragon any cop? Quite excited about it.

    Starts tonight I think Rhouses.

    I won’t be watching

I thought ‘ah fuck it’ and gave The Sandman a go. To my surprise I found I actually enjoyed it. Not my usual thing at all. The diner episode was great.

Watched season one of ‘the old man’ with the dude and some other old guy and it was good. Well written, engaging, good characters, definitely recommend it.

Dubman A bit predictable maybe? I liked it, way better than most of what I watch for sure.

You may like ‘The Terminal List’ on Amazon starting Chris Pratt

Hmmmmm, not sure if I should watch HoD now, or wait for it to finish before starting it.

Been hearing good things about Terminal List, will check out Old Man.

Enjoyed House of the Dragon, read the book and the encyclopedia as well, so it’s nice to have all the context right from the get go - though, finding it a bit shady George Martin didn’t close Game of Thrones, for what seems like a proper cash grab doing this prequel. The book was lazy writing and it feels like its reflecting in the show - it’s not a slow burner like the earlier seasons of GoT, pacing seems quite quick. That being said, the casting is very good and it’s fun noticing more details that weren’t in the books. We’re 5 years passed the finale, but all the dragon scenes feel like a video game.

Watched the first 10 mins of House of Dragon then binned it.

Pffft. Wasn’t bad, but without context of all the characters, probably a tad bit frustrating.

I’m sure GOT fans will love it. I just don’t like anything set in middle age times or fantasy worlds. I can only just handle some sci-fi stuff.

Dubman I’d probably swerve it if I wasn’t a fan of GoT. Chronologically it could make sense to get started with the universe with this though.

GOT was some of the best TV Ive ever seen, however im really non plussed about this spin off
