rhouses Dubman I’d probably swerve it if I wasn’t a fan of GoT. Chronologically it could make sense to get started with the universe with this though.
nicksneddon GOT was some of the best TV Ive ever seen, however im really non plussed about this spin off
rhouses nicksneddon Too early to tell, but it was nice being back in King’s Landing. Worth a watch imo.
seanc80 nicksneddon Its like an americanised version of GOT. Not as well shot and just a more cheesy feel to it in general. Having said that i do like Paddy Considine
mono-stereo Enjoyed the first episode of House of the Dragon. Some story teller is George R. R. Martin. A bunch of machiavellian characters, a helping of tits and ass and a dollop of gratuitous violence. What’s not to love? Even if it’s half as good as GOT it will still be worth a watch imo.
mono-stereo Dubman I’m sure GOT fans will love it. I just don’t like anything set in middle age times or fantasy worlds. I can only just handle some sci-fi stuff. I know what you mean re fantasy stuff, im not particularly into it either, but I would encourage you to persist with the show. It’s a great story.
Homegrove Millsy welcome to the nerdy side. Greatest comic ever. And very well adapted, it probably helped that Neil Gaiman was also a showrunner.
303abuser Homegrove You’ll love it. One of the most consistently funny shows ever, worth it for JB Smoove alone.
-si- Only started watching it this year. Absolutely brilliant. Sky had them all available then pulled series 9,10 and 11. The absolute dicks. So I’m stuck at the end of series 8 until they’re available again somewhere. Amazon prime were looking £2 per episode when i checked a week or two back, the robbing cunts.
-si- Dubman Absolutely top class show, dm. Love it. Aside from the obvious, larry, there are some cracking characters.
Dubman Just finished ‘ Afghanistan: Getting out’ on BBC 2. It’s all about the lead up until the US & UK left Afghanistan in 2021. A good watch Indeed.
Homegrove I enjoyed the first episode of House of Dragon. My wife loved it. She went monologuing about how much she loved it after we finished the episode.
rhouses Did I wake up at 8am and fire up the next episode of House of The Dragon, just as I did with Game of Thrones, yes I did. Now I’m regretting reading the books! Pacing was excellent, just as I hoped it to be. Solid solid second episode.
rhouses Legacy on Hulu seems like the Lakers story we were waiting for after The Last Dance. Two episodes in and I’m digging it, Jerry Buss and the family is quite fascinating. Maybe a little more basketball and a little less drama, but so far very good.
