Just finished Succession last night (bit of a binge watch in the last 3 months or so).
Not sure how I feel about it yet - although it certainly isn’t ‘the greatest TV show of all time’ as I have seen some commentators say. At times I was bored silly - a lot of episodes revolving around the siblings gong back and forth with ‘Dad told me I could have the business’, ‘No he told me that I could have the business’ etc.
The acting was great although I didn’t think much to the writing - way too polished and witty (nobody talks in real life like that). Oh and every single character without fail was detestable, but I get that was the point - with honourable mentions to Roman and Shiv, two of the most annoying characters in TV history. All of the other actors added together couldn’t hold a candle to Brian Cox.
Anyway, on to the next one. Might try Severance perhaps?
