Christian Mad_Cyril if you have not seen them before, there are quite a few episodes. this recent two parter has certainly been one of the better ones,
Christian wrongun with the camper van business that has never sold a camper van. i was most impressed that they had tshirts made up to promote the business
mono-stereo ’It’s a Sin’ on channel 4. About London’s gay community in the 1980s. Great TV but pretty bleak when the lads start coming down with AIDS.
Along_the_Wire mono-stereo Yeah, very good - saw the last one yesterday. The bird in it is a dreadful actor, especially near the end.
mono-stereo Along_the_Wire I’m about halfway through. I did think the bird’s character seems oddly out of place, I guess she’s a mcguffin.
RichM Anyone got Apple TV? And if so any recommendations? Got it free with phone contract, and from initial gander looks like not much on it
Along_the_Wire RichM Load of old shit at the minute - I’ve had a free for almost a year (reminds me that I need to cancel the subscription). Will get better I’m sure mate.
RichM Along_the_Wire I can see me having this for 6 months and binning it as never watching a thing. Thought Apple would do better with this as they have fuck tons of cash to buy up quality tv.
jonattonyeah Making my way through City On The Hill. Really quite good! Think The Wire mixed with The Town. Kevin Bacon is amusing and the story flows nicely. We have it on Showtime (through Amazon for me). I’d recommend it if you’re looking for something.
Phil-McRackin Just finished ‘Wayne’ on Amazon Prime…thought is was ace. Story is nothing particularly original…2 teenagers on the run causing havoc but thought it was really well done. Like a more hardcore ‘ The End of the Fucking World’
Dubmick Matt Watched this last year. It’s very good. Not for the feint hearted, makes Gomorrah look tame.
