Jules72 jonattonyeah yeah different shows for sure, but point I was making is that, for me at least, Succession is a classic. Whereas MoE is merely a decent drama imo.
alistair Jules72 MoE is much more than decent drama. The characters are relatable and empathetic and the plot was griping and completely uncontrived. Succession is a very entertaining albeit misanthropic satire, largely based on the Murdochs
alistair Jules72 Agreed. They have both kept me entertained. Bring it on. Succession is very funny. Will never forget them impersonating animals to please Logan
alistair Really liked the first episode of prison drama Time. Sean Bean and Stephen Graham were both superb
alistair vinnyt77 Graham, Bean and McGovern. Doesn’t disappoint. It is proper grim but there are one or two moments of light.
mono-stereo alistair I thought it was brilliant, good sound track as well. Sean Bean is probably my favourite actor.
Amps mono-stereo Sean Bean is probably my favourite actor. Find him unwatchable. Ruins nearly everything he is in.
Kumquat One for Sean. ‘Liverpool Narcos’ - skip the first episode, head straight to the second and third.
Dubman Kumquat I watched the first two last night. Didn’t realize how big heroin was in the 80’s. It was also bang on regarding ecstasy. I do remember it changing after 92/93 when all the gangs started getting involved.
mono-stereo Amps You obviously haven’t seen this new bbc drama where Sean Bean plays Sean Bean playing a banged up teacher, or the last thing he was in where he plays Sean Bean playing a priest. He’s basically the UK’s answer to Marlon Brando.
Amps mono-stereo Apologies. Clearly my sarcasm detector is away being mended. Fucked if I was about to read much more of this thread.
