watched a season and a half of AP Bio on netflix yesterday. if you like dennis from always sunny, it’s pretty much him as a teacher. not as funny as always sunny, but it’s pretty solid.

SM001 yes, I noticed that. Bosch has a passing resemblance to James Nesbitt 😂 the LA neon/noir location is never a bad thing.

It’s great. Been going through the books these past couple of years and Titus Welliver nails the character. Apart from the moustache.

We’re also doing the season’s at a snail’s pace, 3 done so far. The seventh that just came out will be the last.

Dubman

Two episodes in on the dark thriller ‘The North Water ’ based on the excellent novel by Ian Maguire set in the 1850’s on a wailing ship out of Hull.
I really enjoyed the book and so far the TV adaptation is bang on.

Dubman what channel you watching this on? Seems similar to The Terror, which I loved.

I Downloaded it but it’s made by the BBC and is due out in the autumn in the UK.
The book is well worth a read though.

Didn’t think I would like Ted Lasso, but it’s fun. Kids love it too..

I got tired of Sasquath coming to any of the streaming platforms here, and ventured (for the first time in years) to the bay of pirates. It was terrific, binged all three episodes. A very nice sister piece to Netflix’s Murder Mountain, but gets to the point in half the time.

Both paint a pretty grim picture of people living there, yet I still want to visit. 😃

Watched the first episode of Watch the Sound series on apple tv. Mark Ronson helmed doc on evolution of music technology. Interesting

A fairly bizarre ending and a fairly bizarre show in general, but White Lotus is worth the time. The writing is funny and it’s fairly easy going, fans of succession should enjoy it.

rhouses am 3 episodes in to White Lotus…think it’s worth a watch but hardly the same quality as Succession…have found myself distracted while watching it - can’t say it’s holding my attention that much

Had to fight back the tears for the new Dave finale. Solid second season imo.

…I’ve really enjoyed it, wouldn’t compare it with Succession at all, aside from the hateful nature of all of the characters.

Think it’s extremely well cast… even the minor characters are interesting and freaky in quite obscure ways (LOVE the teenage lad and the unravelling of Armond) . Feels to me like a cross between an Agatha Christie and Lost.
