Boiling Point was great. Was a very uneasy watch at times and you really were rooting for some of the charecters to pull through. Had a “This Life” vibe to it. Hope they do another season.
The Reckoning is good. Coogan IMO is very good but wont get the plaudits due to the subject matter. BBC dont come across very well, nor do the 1970s. After watching this and the Long Shadow ( also V good IMO) the 70’s workplace was just a pub where you started drinking at 11am, groped women and made lewd comments, wrote one letter about something, went to the pub at 4.30pm then drove home pissed to get fed . No wonder the UK was in such a state in those days.
