Fargo this season is also absolutely top tier. Three episodes are available here now (four in the States, we didn’t get the two episode starter), and all have been just amazing. The third one especially. Jon Hamm with nipple piercings is a bit much though.

Homegrove can I go straight into this series? Only seen the first two (don’t remember what happened to be fair) but do I need to watch the series in order? Can’t remember if it’s like True detective where they are all completely different and unrelated

RichM nah, it’s an anthology-show, every season is it’s own thing. Some recurring charcters in different ages, that’s the only connection there is. Well, and lots of homages to Coen-movies, and the first season is in the same neck of woods as Fargo the movie. First and the second season are amazing, third is good, fourth is OK, but is seriously let down by having Chris Rock in it as a crime lord. It just doesn’t work.

Amps I think the comedy elements are a bit lame to start off with, but somehow it starts working - the stories are excellent. It’s annoying that Apple are releasing each episode weekly

Along_the_Wire I regularly wait for a show to finish now before I get stuck into it. The weekly thing can be a killer, especially if they get the timing all wrong. Also works well for swerving stuff that goes off the rails; For All Mankind, Raised by Wolves, countless others etc.

Slow Horses is decent, worth watching, but I don’t love it as much as some here. Like most of Apple TV, the writing is pretty straight forward.

We’re on season 2 of loudermilk and if you like dark comedy, it’s really well done. Based around a group of recovering alcoholics, so it should be relatable.
