I love it, but can appreciate the supernatural stuff is not for everyone. I think the show would have been better appreciated if they’d dropped the True Detective-moniker all together and just called it Night Country, but I can understand why HBO wanted to include it. That said the criticism for it comes from a vocal minority as it’s crushing rating wise, at least in America.
