The pilot of Tokyo Vice worked for me because of the technical aspects, directing, sound design etc. Will have to see if it works when Michael Mann isn’t directing it. Wife didn’t want to watch two episodes in a row because “the guy annoys the hell out of me, and I can only tolerate him one episode at a time.”
