Jules72 Christian yeah just finished it… superb stuff… which was better - the first or second series?
vinnyt77 Jules72 First I reckon, but both excellent. Murray Bartlett’s character in the first series just nicks it for me
alistair vinnyt77 Second just shades it. So many fascinating story lines running simultaneously. Tanya and Portia storyline great and the competition between the two Yale grads and their wives stood out.
alistair Have to say I am enjoying the Branson doc series on Sky. Breathing new life in to a well worn subject. Incredible how many times he has rebuilt his own island home never mind risked his life for the brand
Christian the first series had a few more “what the hell” moments which had me in stitches, especially on the last episode.
alistair LT42 You really do carry a grudge don’t you. It’s practically eating away at you. Get a life mate and enjoy that blissful first year of marriage.
Phil-McRackin SM001 gets more involved with the Yakuza and crime families the further in you go so may be worth another go. I don’t finish that many series at the moment but this pulled me in.
whatever SM001 Yeah I finished it and was definitely worthwhile. Think there is a noticeable drop with Ep 2 because Ep 1 is directed by Michael Mann but it definitely levels out.
Amps Have been watching The Handmaid’s Tale, it might be past it’s best now, but they’ve done a good job of pacing it, thrown in the odd twist, haven’t done anything daft with it. Decent performances too.
mrrossi Lol I’ve been sucked into Ancient Aliens on History Channel.Just ordered my tin foil hat off the web. Some of the shit they saying on there is blowing my head off 😂
Amps mrrossi Remember, just because white people couldn’t do it, doesn’t mean it was aliens! That said, I love that shit!
