Phil-McRackin SM001 gets more involved with the Yakuza and crime families the further in you go so may be worth another go. I don’t finish that many series at the moment but this pulled me in.
RichM Phil-McRackin I thought it started well then got a bit shit half way through, started getting a bit far fetched in the story line IMO. I much prefer shorter series so still finished it

RichM Millsy that good to hear, I do love a series which starts well then goes to shit! Makes it really worthwhile. Might have to rewatch Ever Decreasing Circles & The Good Life instead
whatever SM001 Yeah I finished it and was definitely worthwhile. Think there is a noticeable drop with Ep 2 because Ep 1 is directed by Michael Mann but it definitely levels out.

Dubman Funky Done 6 episodes of Tulsa king. Once you get past the first 3 episodes it’s starts picking up. I think it’s got legs.
whatever Dubman Same, but liked it from the start. Felt like a lot of other similar shows like Ray Donovan with slightly trashy elements but still really entertaining.
alistair Bad sisters on Apple. Wife talked me into watching it and it’s surprisingly very good (and darkly funny) after the first three episodes. John Paul has to be the most despicable fucker of the year.
Dubman whatever I believe there’s a few more episodes before the season ends. There’s going to be a 2nd season as well as well.
