Smallman1 Mad_Cyril 60k to carry him down, talk about taking advantage. OUTRAGEOUS Lol! Cost of the trip, thought I’d never have a hot chocolate with him again!
Smallman1 Thankfully Snr, Bry, Oakey, High Earning Hernan Catteneo and Martin Gontad have been reunited at Stanny B since!
Along_the_Wire Jules72 It’s brilliant and properly, properly hard. I’m too much of a bedwetter to do anything hard mind outside of climbing walls.
Dubman I’m exactly the same. I’m quiet happy to do a high altitude trek on my own and even thought about doing a Trekking peak such as Mera peak or long island peak but even though their all fixed rope they are all above 6000 mtr. Everest gets all the glory but there are loads of mountains in himalayas that are much harder to climb. I think my favourite in Nepal would be Ama Dablam or Annapurna South which is a different mountain to Chris Bonington’s Annapurna south face. But the ultimate would be K2 in Pakistan. There is a good doc on Amazon prime called K2 siren of the himalayas.
Jules72 If any of you haven’t read Into Thin Air, you should… incredible story and one of my favourite books of all time
