Millsy LT42 yep. Nothing makes me eject the VHS more than the words ‘A Spike Lee Joint’ in the opening credits. Shit.
303abuser LT42 i haven’t seen too many of his films post-2000, but some of his early work was really good (while being hit and miss overall). do the right thing is phenomenal, jungle fever and malcom x were good as were clockers and crooklyn, get on the bus was good and one i think many people haven’t seen.
Christian had to endure the wrong missy this weekend. absolutly horrific. however zerozerozero has significantly made up for a rubbish weekend. so thank you for whoever recomended that on the TV thread
jonattonyeah Smallman1 Fairly sure I’ve never seen a Spike Lee film. Give 25th Hour a go. Rosario Dawson looks incredible in it. And Edward Norton’s rant is fantastic.
303abuser watched ad astra last night, thought it was ok. nothing special, but had some good moments.
Kells77 Skyfall. 9/10. Would have gotten a 10, but not nearly enough skin shown. I love this movie though, really, as I do most Bond films. I’m going to miss Daniel Craig as Bond.
wrongun Jules72 Is everyone watching this on a nudge, nudge, wink, wink Big Fella type torrent download?
Dubman wrongun I gave up trying to watch it through torrent sites as the subtitles were cut off through the middle.

wrongun Thank you gents - few of the suggested site are annoyingly blocked my work Mac so will try iPad or old home laptop
Jules72 Lion… true story about a young Indian boy (living in India) who becomes separated from his brother and trapped on a train that takes him far far away. Ends up in an shelter for orphans and then adopted by an Australian couple. Tugs on the heart strings in a big way and very well made. Given I hadn’t even heard of this film, I was really quite surprised just how much I enjoyed it. Best film I’ve watched during lockdown 8.5/10
Along_the_Wire The King of Staten Island. Wasn’t sure what to expect, but it’s funny, silly, cheesy and melancholic. Enjoyed it. 8/10. I’m gonna research Pete Davidson.
