Funky Dumb Money, 3 stars. Decent protrayal of the gamestop squeeze but would bore the tits of people who weren’t involved.
Homegrove I watched No One Will Save You. I thought it was very good. Almost without any dialogue. Very well done. You want to make your TV room dark, and the sound UP for this.
rhouses Homegrove The sci-fi alien angle is deterring me. A millsy-type sex pest home invasion would be far scarier IMO.
Phil-McRackin Homegrove watched last night and really liked it too. Let down a little by some dodgy CGI and the ending will annoy some but really nicely shot and score was great.
Dubman Watched A Bronx Tale last night. Still really good. can definitely see how Goodfellas influenced it.
Dubman Anchorage Two brothers steal a load of opioids and decide to drive from Florida to Anchorage to sell them for a huge price. Both take to much gear along the way which causes them to go down a few dark places. 6.5/10
Dan Crazy Heart (2009) Jeff Bridges is a washed up country singer with a serious booze problem. Great film IMHO. Good supporting cast from Maggie Gyllenhaal, Robert Duvall and Colin Farrell.
alistair Dan brilliant film, tour de force performance from a hapless Bridges falling apart at the seams. Implausible romance though
