The new Indy coming to Disney+ on the 15th, as is Barbie to HBO Max, same date. We skipped both in theatres, and I am much more interested to see Barbie finally to see what all the ruckus was about. We’re going to watch The Dial of Destiny too, but I am expecting to feel sad watching it.

Along_the_Wire Maestro comes out on the 20th. I know that’s not Christmas Day, but should be a big contender for the Oscars at least, so a big movie in that way.

Sea of Love (1989). This was this week’s choice for The Rewatchables-pod, and I figured I could do with a rewatch before listening to it, and SkyShowtime had it. Pretty alright still, and it’s always fun to watch a movie set in the old seedy New York. Pacino looks already half dead in this movie, and he’s still been acting for 34 years after this came out.

-si- well given Finland’s history that at least has a ring of truth in it. One of my favorite news stories here was a few years ago when some Finns opened up a SS-themed restaurant in Berlin, and were surprised they were not welcome, and had to pack up and come back to Finland. “But it’s honoring Finnish SS-troops, not the German.” Because some Finns still maintain the Finns in SS were not bad guys, like the Germans. 😀

True Lies is a cult favorite, but I had a bad time with it a few years ago watching it for the first time in ages. Aliens already has a pretty good remaster (if only 1080), Titanic is Titanic, but The Abyss being finally avaible is a very big deal for me. I even ordered the 4K Blu Ray box-set, so for me it’s going to be March before I see it. Previously available was only a really crappy DVD. Which I naturally had, but gave away when Cameron said he’s approved the 4K remaster earlier this year.
