National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation (1989). Another movie where The Rewatchables did an episode and I’d not seen the movie. Enjoyed this one much more than the first Vacation-movie. Laughed out loud several times. “Shitter’s full!”

That new Jennifer Lawrence comedy on Netflix isn’t half bad. Reminiscent of the late 90s raunchy comedy. Plus she goes full frontal, which is nice. Decent enough time pass.

The Holdovers (2023)

Paul Giamatti & Alexander Payne (Sideways).

Some teenage boys and their teacher are forced to spend the snowy Christmas of 1970 holed up in their boarding school.

It’s a gentle, bittersweet, character-driven, sentimental film, but it’s beautifully done.

Highly recommended.
