Millsy Along_the_Wire Cheers. The Guinness zero alcohol is now my go to as it actually tastes like the real thing, kinda. Now I just need a non alcoholic single malt scotch.
Smallman1 Millsy Now I just need a non alcoholic single malt scotch. You could pair it with some Nugenix.
Millsy C_J I have a tender and soft side as you well know, CJ. I also need to watch aftersun, but wanted to watch that with my daughter.
Along_the_Wire C_J I have and it is pretty good - it’s just a fraction too sweet for me, but still drinkable
whatever Napoleon 6 Waterloos out of 10. Seemed to cut to different scenes too much and there was nothing interesting about Phoenix’s performance.
ArchimedesQ Men Up - On BBC iplayer - British movie based around the Viagra clinical trials in Swansea in the 1990’s. Quite funny in places, heartwarming in places, easy watch. - The wife enjoyed it too so a win. Solid 7.5/10
ArchimedesQ Mad_Cyril lol, fortunately I’m not at that stage yet MC - I’m sure it’s in the post but still using spray on starch at the mo’ 🙂
alistair Just seen The Holdovers at the Everyman. What a great film. Alexander Payne never disappoints and this is right up there. Couple of standout performances. 9/10
Homegrove C_J my problem was the tone. I expected a normal high school comedy about a lesbian fight club, so I was unprepared for Another Teen Movie.
gcw The American (2010) George Clooney playing the role of a hit man hiding out in a small Italian village whilst arranging one last job. This wasn’t too bad, but did kind of expect the story to go where it went. Still, an easy Sunday evening watch 7/10
Millsy gcw yeah, liked this one, but may have been to do with the setting and the fact I’ve visited some of the locations (stunning part of the world). Whole film reminded me of a 70s spy thriller which is no bad thing.
