The Vast of Night (2019). A straight to streaming Amazon Studios, set in the 50s UFO-flick that was actually pretty ok. The story is unoriginal, but it was very well done, and acted by a cast of total unknowns. I was hooked the whole 90 minutes.

Vertigo (1958). 5/5. My favorite classic classic movie. You know, something from before the 70s. I’m always surprised how sick this movie is when I rewatch it, about once a decade. And me being me I have to recommend the 4K Blu Ray. It looks really really good.

The Depahted (2006). Got the new 4K in the mail today, and watched it right away. Great transfer, also available in iTunes. I also love the movie a lot, it’s not Scorcese’s best obviously, but probably the one I watch the most.

Civil War was excellent. Shame Garland has said he’s done as a director. Not seen Men, but all his other films have been great. The sound design WAS Mannesque @Wally IMO.

Napoleon. I think it’s fair to say that Ridley Scott has lost it. Joaquin Phoenix asks the question “What if Napoleon was a horse?” It’s a question no one really gives a fuck about and makes for a shit film with some great scenes.
