I would actually love this, but I doubt there would be much discussion with just me in there.
I find it baffling that while physical movie sales are obviously down DVDs still outsell Blu Rays. Blu Ray is such and improvement on picture, and especially sound. I guess there’s a lot who still have a working DVD player, and no interest in upgrading, or maybe they don’t know any better. And 4K Blu Ray I know will never get beyond it’s current status where the enthusiasts are comparable to people who buy music on vinyl. But the movies on 4K Blu Ray on a good telly do look as good as they do in a movie theatre. Not IMAX obviously, IMAX film is comparable to something like 10k in digital, and that will not happen in our lifetime with TVs.
