Mad_Cyril Homegrove Hoping to get signed back into work soon, so free days are running out. If I get signed off next week as well will make the trip anyway as going insane at home!
Homegrove If anyone wants to go into the weeds with different cinema experiences The Big Picture pod did an episode on that just this week.
rhouses Homegrove You’ll probably think this is sacrilege, but I generally opt for the big screen gold class hall over the IMAX. In my defense I watched both Dune movies in gold class (with the missus) and imax (solo)
Homegrove rhouses gold class seems to be about the same as Luxe in Finnkino. I’ll give it a try one day I guess.
rhouses Homegrove don’t bother hannu, I couldn’t bare you actually being comfortable with your feet up and food being served to you during a movie.
rhouses Mad_Cyril a bar of Cadbury silk, a blueberry muffin and hot chocolate during challengers. FYI.
whatever Thing is. Apart from the chauffeur: the maid, butler, and toilet attendant all got the night off, so it’s a good outcome for the workforce.
Homegrove 4K restauration of The Wicker Man (1973, not the Cage-one) is on sale on iTunes if you’re into classics. Bought it for 6€ yesterday, and gave it a cursory look. Worth it. It’s the 88 minute theatrical cut.
Mad_Cyril Homegrove Will have to own up to never seeing 😳 Just had a peep and looks like Midsommar was heavily influenced by? I love Midsommar, freaky as fuck, are the two essentially the same film?
Phil-McRackin Abigail. A group of specially chosen strangers are tasked to kidnap a 12 yr old girl in the hope of sharing a 50 million ransom. They just have to keep her for 24hrs in a large abandoned house and wait for the cash. Horror with a sense of humour and i had a great time with it.
Phil-McRackin My bar is probably lower than most but it’s 84% on Rotten Tomatoes so there must be some others out there
