Gladiator (2000). There was a screening of this in the local multiplex in the iSense-room (4K laser projector, Dolby Atmos-sound, massive screen), so had to buy a ticket, especially as I didn’t go see this when it was originally released 24 years ago, because at the time I thought that no one can do a good sword and sandals movie in this day and age. I was wrong. I have of course seen this at home many times since, but can’t beat a really big screen, and a crowd.
