MCU-movie 17/24: Black Widow

Saw this in the actual movie theater. Was good to be back. Easily in the top half of the MCU-movies. Florence Pugh was very good, and I’m sure she will also be back. Ray Winstone kept forgetting he was supposed to have a Russian accent, and kept slipping into cockney. Might as well have Sean Conneried it.

The Little Things (2021)

I don’t think it’s a very good movie. No idea what Rami Malek is even doing. He’s really, really bad. Leto is enjoyable as he just hams up the psycho serial killer thing to an 11. Can watch Denzel in pretty much anything. I enjoy all his movies even if some are ehhhhhhh at best. The Little Things doesn’t quite click. But I finished it and enjoyed it.

Yeah it wasn’t good. I think I enjoyed it just out of nostalgia. They don’t make movies like that anymore. It’s all MCU, Oscar fodder, and animated.

Sexy Beast… not sure if someone mentioned it on here, but rewatched this. Ben Kingsley of course is totally nuts and brilliant as ruthless/violent gangster trying to recruit retired gangster Gal for a one off job…. Classic stuff..8/10
